Another July 4th race in the books!

With very favorable weather, the Men’s course record was almost broken and the race went off without a hitch. The Men’s race was won by Joseph Koech of Chelmsford, MA with a smokin’ fast time of 25:45 (5:09/mi) and the women’s side by Lindsay Willard of Somerville, MA with a time of 32:05 (6:25/mi). The race committee hopes that every racer enjoyed the race and the hats. The results have now been posted and we would appreciate any feedback especially getting running hats versus t-shirts.

The next race is the Apple Harvest Ramble 10k on 10/3/2010. The race is 2 weeks out from the Bay State Marathon and is a great tune-up for that race. We hope to see you there and have a great summer!

Harvard July 4th Road Race

The committee is getting ready for the upcoming 4th of July 5-miler. This year, we are offering a high-tech running hat with Harvard July 4th logo instead of t-shirts. We feel that our runners will really like the hats and enjoy running in them. Check it out below.

2010 Race Schedule

The Harvard Road Race Committee has finalized the schedule for the 2010 racing season. After much thought and in an effort to expand participation, the committee has decided to modify the 10-miler in the Fall to be a 10k. We are also very excited to offer 2 trail races this fall. Check out the Events Schedule for more information.

As always, please contact the Race Director for more information.
