Apple Harvest Ramble 2017

The Apple Harvest Ramble 2017 edition went off without a hitch with some awesome weather to boot! The cloudy day made for perfect running conditions.

Start of 2017 Apple Harvest Ramble

The 10M ace was won by Maura Ferrarini of Somerville, MA in a time of 1:09:29 (6:57/mi) & Dylan Villescas all the way from Las Cruces, New Mexico, in a time of 58:02 (5:49/mi). The 5M race was won by Robin Schulman of Maynard, MA in a time of 37:15 (7:27/mi) and Mike Slowik in a time of 33:22 (6:41/mi). The results and pictures of the Ramble are now posted. The Ramble is almost here!!!

The Apple Harvest Ramble 5 and 10 milers are in less than 2 weeks. If you haven't registered, please do so today!

We're expecting another great year with a beautiful course of rolling hills, lots of great prizes (including homemade apple pies!), Chef Paul's famous harvest soup and the Harvard Farmer's Market at the end of a race. I couldn't think of a better Saturday in late September!

We’re back!!!

Registration is open for the July 4th, 2017 edition of the New England July 4th classic. We're so excited for some warmer weather and to bring another great race to the New England running community. Apple Harvest Ramble 2016

The Apple Harvest Ramble was a huge hit on Saturday, 9/24, with excellent weather and lots of happy runners. The results of the race have been posted as well as some pictures. The race was won on the Women's side in a blazing time of 1:00:33 (6:04/mi) by Betsy Burke (a possible course record, still under review!) and on the Men's side by local favorite Nick Rindenello in a sprint for the chute with 2nd place finisher Ian Nurse. Nick's time of 57:19 (5:44/mi) bested Ian by 2 seconds in a great effort by both men! All had excellent races with some really fast times!

39th Great Harvard 4th of July Road Race

Another 4th, another perfect day for a run, another great race! We hope that everyone enjoyed the race out there today. The race was won by the home town favorite Nick Rindenello of Harvard with a time of 28:00 (5:36 / mile) and Lindsay Willard of Somerville, MA with a time of 31:44 (6:21/mile). Great runs by both of them and congrats for the win!

                  After the 5miler finished, the kids lined up for the 1M fun run. And, what a run it was with lots of kids have a great race and having a blast! 2016 is open for registration!

Both the July 4th 5-miler and the Apple Harvest Ramble races are open for registration! We're looking forward to another great running season and are also going to bring forth the team concept to both races. Look for some updates on building a team for both races this coming year.... Thanks.

NVGP results updated after Harvard 10M and Littleton 5k

The NVGP results have been updated to reflect current standings. If you feel that there is an issue with the results or you should be included in the results and are not, please email the NVGP coordinator (Mark Rambacher) at nvgp@harvardraces.org. The final race of the series is the Ayer Firefighter Thanksgiving Day 5k on 11/26/2015.

Run for the Hills 2015

The Run for the Hills 2015 edition was held on Sunday, September 13th, 2015. The 5k race was won by 12-year old Makayla Paige in 22:06 (7:08/mi) for the Women and Cody Freihofer in 18:35 (6:00/mi) for the Men with others running hard and enjoying the race and many others enjoying the beautiful trail. Both results and pictures for the race have been posted. This race was a benefit for the Harvard Conservation Trust (HCT).
