We are proud to announce the 2nd annual Nashoba Valley Grand Prix (NVGP) race series. The 2012 series consists of road races in the towns of Groton, Harvard, Littleton, & Ayer. We had 24 runners finish the inaugural series last year. We have added the Littleton 5k as a new race and are looking forward to growing the number of runners in the the series to promote the benefits of running the beautiful roads of the Nashoba Valley!
The rules:
- Register for and run each race in the series. (please use the same name)
- Runners will be assigned points for each race. The points calculation will be based on a percentage of net time relative to the fastest time in each gender.
- Cash prizes will be given to the first, second and third overall male & female runners who complete the series.
- Prizes will also be given to each runner who completes 4 out of 5 races in the series. Runners must be present at the Ayer 5k to claim prize.
- Check www.harvardraces.org/nvgp for winners. Winners (first – $150, second -$100 & third – $50) will be posted by Saturday after the Ayer Firefighter 5k.
- Checks for the winners will go out on the Monday after the Ayer Firefighter 5k.
