Description: The Apple Harvest Ramble 10miler and 5miler are run at the beginning of the fall foliage and the peak of the apple picking season. The challenging course runs by some of the most magnificent views of the Nashoba Valley. The 10miler has been a New England tradition for many years. To accommodate those runners wanting to run a shorter race, we have added a 5miler. We hope that this will satisfy both groups of runners. There are water stops at miles 2, 4, 6 & 8 as well as water available at the finish line. Both courses will start start at the same time (9am!) on Elm Street just off the Harvard Common (short walk from registration) and finish in front of the Harvard Elementary School. Awards and Prizes: Again, this year, we will be implementing our "drive through" awards ceremony. Well, there isn't actually a ceremony but runners can pick up the awards by stopping at the awards table once the results have been posted. We have found very limited participation in the awards ceremony in the last few years and want the runners to receive their awards. This is a new concept this year and we hope that it is well received. It is really for the benefit of our runners as every year we have many, many unclaimed awards. This process was well received at last years event. Awards available to top finishers in each division. Awards to Top Harvard Resident finishers in each division. ** Runners are eligible for only one award. Runners qualifying for more than one award will get the higher award and the next finishers in that category will be moved up to fill the category. Course Records:
