Run for the Hills 2023 race recap

Run for the Hills 11/29/2023 race recap

Conditions were ideal for a fall race: cool and cloudy, with the rain holding off just long enough. Runners completed the rugged course exhilarated and a little muddy. The results and pictures are now available.

The 5k was won by Harvard’s own Roy Van Kleef in 19:54, and by Emma Kjaersgaard of Lincoln, in 23:00. While everyone's a winner in the 1-Mile Fun Run, the pack was led by rising stars Skylar Van Kleef and Kyran O’Leary.

We’re grateful for the hospitality of the Prospect Hill Community Orchard - and we’re looking forward to seeing you again next year!

July 4th, 2023 race recap

In spite of some looming rain, both the 5M and 1M fun run went off under great running conditions today. The results and pictures for the 5M and 1M have been uploaded.

The 5M was won by Carolina Karlowicz with a time of 33:58 (6:48/mi) and The Harvard Running Legend Nick Rindenello with a time of 29:06 (5:50/mi). Great runs by both of them. The first finisher in the 1M kids fun run was Padraig O'Leary. Lots of hard running out there today and lots of smiles.

See ya'll in September for the Apple Harvard Ramble!
